Brigitte Nielsen was born in Helsingor, Denmark on 15 July 1963. In 1979 she moved to France and Italy where she began her modelling career. In 1984, the Italian producer Dino de Laurentiis contracted her for the film Red Sonja (1985) with Arnold Schwarzenegger. The following year she met Sylvester Stallone and in December 1985 she married him. Meanwhile she shot three other films: Rocky IV (1985), Cobra (1986) and Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) directed by Tony Scott and together with Eddie Murphy, Paul Reiser and Chris Rock. In July 1987 they divorced and Gitte recorded an LP called: "Everybody tells a story" and sang with Falco a song, "Body Next To Body".

In the 90s she acted in many films, such as, _ 976-EVIL 2: The Astral Factor (1991)_ , Fantaghir? II (1992) (TV) and its sequels, Double 0 Kid, The (1993), Chained Heat II (1993), Galaxis (1995) with Sam Raimi, _ Compelling Evidence (1995)_ , She's Too Tall (1998) with Corey Feldman and George Hamilton and the last, Doomsdayer (1999). In recent years she became interested in the music world, doing a duet with the drag-queen Rupaul, "You're no lady" (2002). She has 4 children: Julian (b. 1984), Killian (b. 1989), Douglas (b. 1993) and Raoul Jr. (b. 1995). She lives in Lugano, Switzerland).

Brigitte Nielesn now works often in European tv! She hosts a chat-show on danish tv and she's guest in a lot of italian tv show! In summer 2000 she was #1 in spanish hitparade with the techno-dance song "NO MORE TURNING BACK". She's working about her 3rd album(the first twos had a good succecs in North-Europe in the '90s), it will be a pop/dance album like Kylie Minogue's music. She's testimonial for a very famous fashion-maison in German and in Austria. She will host a talk-show in the nationl Schweiz's tv. She has 4 sons and she lives with her husband (a F-3 champion) in Schweiz, near Lugano.
