Though born in America, Bourret is best-known in England where she became a top model in the 1990s. She went on to become something of an all-purpose celebrity known only as "Caprice," starring in the ITV program Caprice's Travels, hosting various awards shows, appearing on the popular morning show The Big Breakfast and becoming a regular in tabloid gossip columns. Bourret modelled for Wonderbra advertisements (following in the footsteps of Eva Herzigova) and appeared in the famous Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. She also dabbled in music, releasing the single "Oh Yeah" in 2000.
