Christine Lahti's television credits include the television movie "No Place Like Home", for which she won a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress and an Emmy Award nomination.

For her role in the miniseries "Amerika" she was nominated for both Emmy and Golden Globe awards.

Christine Lahti has also appeared in such acclaimed television programs as "The Executioner's Song" with Tommy Lee Jones and "The Last Tenant" with Lee Strasberg.

She won an Oscar for directing "Lieberman in Love", a short film for Showtime in which she also starred and a CableACE Award for Best Actress for her role in the tv-movie "Crazy From the Heart." She also appeared in "The Fear Inside". Christine Lahti's feature films include Sidney Lumet's "Running on Empty" for which she received the 1988 Los Angeles Film Critics Award and a Golden Globe nomination, "The Doctor" with William Hurt, "Leaving Normal" with Meg Tilly, "Whose Life Is It, Anyway?" with Richard Dreyfuss and "...And Justice For All" with Al Pacino.

For her role as Goldie Hawn's best friend in Jonathan Demme's World War II comedy "Swing Shift" she received the Best Supporting Actress Award from the New York Film Critics Circle as well as nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.

Recent projects include "Pie in the Sky" with John Goodman and "Hideaway" with Jeff Goldblum. On the New York stage Christine Lahti starred in Wendy Wasserstein's "The Heidi Chronicles."

She received an Obie Award for her performance in the revival of Jules Feiffer's "Little Murders." Christine Lahti won a Theater World Award for her role in David Mamet's "The Woods."

On the Los Angeles stage, Lahti recently appeared with Richard Dreyfuss in "Three Hotels" at the Mark Taper Forum. She also appeared in Tennessee Williams' "Summer and Smoke"and in A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters."
