Heather Laurie Holden is a Canadian-American actress. She is noted for the recurring role of Marita Covarrubias on The X-Files, co-starring with Jim Carrey in the film The Majestic, playing the police officer Cybil Bennett in the Silent Hill movie, and Amanda Dunfrey in The Mist.
Personal Life
Holden was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, the daughter of actors Larry Holden and Adrienne Ellis, sister of actor Christopher Holden, stepdaughter of film director Michael Anderson and stepsister of actor Michael Anderson, Jr. and producer David Anderson. Her parents divorced in 1975 and Holden was raised in Canada and spent her freshman year at McGill University, then transferring to UCLA to do a BA in Theatre Arts. She has dual citizenship with the United States and Canada.
