Was Quentin Tarantino's second choice to play 'The Bride' in Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004). Tarantino decided to delay production so Uma Thurman could keep the part. (Tarantinto and Thurman developed the idea behind 'The Bride' and the films' general story together.)
Rosanna Arquette has made her mark in independent and mainstream projects alike. Acknowledged as an actress of rare depth and scope, Arquette's first break came as a young teen in the movie of the week Harvest Home, directed by Leo Penn and starring Bette Davis, who took Arquette under her wing. She went on to play an asthmatic child in the Afterschool Special Mom and Dad Can't Hear Me and soon after that portrayed an alcoholic teen on the popular series James at 15.
Her role opposite Tommy Lee Jones in The Executioner's Song brought her great critical acclaim, as well as her subsequent performance in Martin Scorsese's After Hours. She reunited with Scorsese for his segment of New York Stories. She won a BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work as Susan opposite newcomer Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan.
