Vanessa Marcil was born on October 15, 1969 in Palm Desert, California. When she was born her name wasn't Marcil, it was Ortiz. Although she was acting at an early age, Marcil studied law after graduating from high school. She also played Nicolas Cage's girlfriend in the Rock in 1996. For two years, 1998-2000, she played the part of Gina Kincaid on the tv show Beverly Hills 90210. She left the show to work on her movie career. Vanessa was offered the cover and layout in Playboy Magazine but didn't take the offer because she doesn't like to show her body off.
