Summary :Screenwriter Jeffrey Nachmanoff (THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW) fashions a dark ensemble comedy around one eventful night in the lives of a group of eccentric Los Angelinos in his full-length directorial debut HOLLYWOOD PALMS. The action takes place in the titular apartment building, where former child-star Clark (Patrick Labyorteaux) relives the trauma of his own youthful acting career (it involved a talking skunk) while managing a quirky roster of tenants that includes Jeff (Dean Cameron) and Blair (Elizabeth Mitchell), a broken-up couple forced to live together to cover the rent; and Phoebe (Paget Brewster) and Kathleen (Kristen Bauer), unlikely roommates whose polar-opposite personalities clash on a frequent basis. When Jeff's jealousy over Blair's new boyfriend Michael (Judge Reinhold) and Kathleen's disastrous date with Joel (David Packer) both take unexpected turns for the worse, the tenants' stories converge in a fateful collision of murder, mayhem, and misunderstandings that offers a blackly comic look at the decidedly unglamorous side of Hollywood life.
