Grade : A
New York Post : J.M. Barrie in Marc Foster's movingly lyrical ''Finding Neverland,'' Johnny Depp adds yet another indelible, Oscar-worthy portrait to his gallery of memorable characters. Grade : A
filmcritic.com : Finding Neverland is just as magical as the story that inspired it. Not only does it perfectly encapsulate James Barrie's crowning literary achievement, it reverberates in full vivid detail the extraordinary mind of this gifted playwright. This enchanting film, with its affecting sweetness delivered by a flawless cast, is destined to become a classic.   more

Grade : B
New York Times : Arthur doesn't put in an appearance in ''Finding Neverland,'' probably because having a grumbling father and husband on the scene would draw uncomfortable attention to Barrie's fixation. Sylvia is already widowed in David Magee's screenplay and more the obvious focus of the writer's attention than her children.    more

Grade : B
USA Today : The story is based on the friendship that Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie had with the Llewelyn Davies family, but it draws heavily from a play, The Man Who Was Peter Pan, that focused on imaginary conversations between Barrie and the young Davies boys.   more
