"Hannah Montana" actor Cody Linley is the latest celebrity, who has been eliminated on Tuesday from "Dancing with the stars" competition.
The 18 year old Cody Linley was competing in the ABC's popular dancing competition with his professional partner, Julianne Hough.
Hough is an American professional ballroom dancer and country music singer. She is most-widely known for her repeated appearances on ABC's program "Dancing with the Stars", which she won twice.
The pair of Cody Linley and Julianne Hough received a total score of 46 out of 60 from judges for their paso doble and salsa routines on Monday. After adding viewer votes with the judges' scores, the Disney actor was dismissed.
After being eliminated, Cody Linley said, "Oh my gosh! ....I mean, words can't even explain the true amazing, growing, learning journey that I've had on this show. I can't show my appreciation anymore to Julianne. I can't say thank you. I love her so much. This opportunity has been so amazing".
When Hough missed two weeks of competition because of surgery to remove her appendix, Cody Linley was paired with professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska. Hough rejoined Linley on Monday's semifinal round and the pair received the judge's lowest scores.
Before taking the floor for their dance on Teusday, Hough said to Linley, "I'm so proud of you. I've had such an amazing time with you. This has probably been the biggest journey that any of these couples have had out here. I cannot wait to see what his opportunities are going to be after this show".
The three remaining contestants are model-actress Brooke Burke, singer Lance Bass and former NFL star Warren Sapp. They will compete for the show's mirror ball trophy in next week's finals.
